A three-time founder and Forbes 30 Under 30 alum, Richard built Founders Capital from a WhatsApp group into Europe’s leading community-powered investment platform. Prior to FC, he exited multiple businesses in marketing, consumer, and tech; including Boxtails, alan. agency, and Sectorlight. Richard leads platform strategy, deal structuring, and late-stage deployment.

Darren is CFO at Founders Capital. A Chartered Accountant with extensive experience across asset management, fund administration and financial services, he brings deep expertise in financial reporting, governance and operational leadership. Darren has held senior leadership roles across the investment industry, supporting complex fund structures and scaling financial operations.

Haroun is Managing Director at Founders Capital. A two-time founder with a strong track record of building and scaling fast-growth startups, he brings deep entrepreneurial and operational experience to the firm. Haroun leads FC’s operations and growth strategy, focused on building the platform, infrastructure and capabilities required for its next phase of growth.

Sam Hargrove is Head of Operations at Founders Capital, overseeing pipeline, due diligence, and portfolio operations. Progressing from Analyst Intern to Investment Analyst, he supports execution across early and late-stage opportunities. Sam holds an MSc in Finance & Investment and a BSc in Management from the University of Nottingham, with prior experience in corporate development and M&A.

Sam Scott leads our YCombinator investments at Founders Capital. A First-Class Business Management graduate from the University of Exeter, he also studied at Stanford University. Before joining Founders Capital, he founded Depolarised, a media company improving commercial awareness among young professionals.

Sean leads institutional, family office, and strategic capital relationships. Fluent in Mandarin, he brings valuable cross-border experience and deep relationships with Asian institutional capital. Prior to joining FC, Sean founded Rui Capital, a private markets investment firm.

James is a serial entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience building and scaling businesses. Founder of Gunhill Infrastructure and fintech pioneer Hastee, he previously led J.P. Morgan’s UK Tech Disruptors Vertical, supporting high-growth tech companies and entrepreneurs.

David is a qualified accountant and seasoned finance leader, having worked across private equity, startups, and corporate advisory. He advises on Founders Capital's fund operations, regulatory compliance, investor reporting, and SPV structuring across UK and US jurisdictions.

Dan Honeywell is a Venture Partner at Founders Capital and founder of Zedsen, where he built a world-class team, secured 48 patents, and achieved 50x growth. Previously, he founded Honeywell & Partners, scaling it into a global consultancy and SaaS business. Dan has advised companies from start-up to Fortune 250, passionate about helping teams solve important problems.
